Hopefully I'll actually be able to see him play more games this year.http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/insider/news/story?id=2922525&lpos=spotlight&lid=tab1pos1&action=login&appRedirect=http%3a%2f%2finsider.espn.go.com%2fnfl%2finsider%2fnews%2fstory%3fid%3d2922525%26lpos%3dspotlight%26lid%3dtab1pos1

discover tinyurl.com.please.Also, I'd put Rivers above McNabb in that list. I think Mcnabb's best days are behind him. Arguably I could put him above Palmer as well, but at this point that's a toss up.

I'd put Hasselbeck over RiversI mean I love Rivers but he hasn't really done anything with any type of longevity

The article rates teams by overall position strength, meaning they factor in the quality of the backups. Rivers has one of the best backup QB's behind him in Billy Volek. That probably boosted him past Hasselbeck and Bulger.Rivers is poised to have a huge year with Norv calling the plays. That combination should make last year's best offense only more dominant. If somebody will just step up and become the go-to reciever, the offense could set some scoring records.

They have a go-to reciever. He plays TE however.

I love P.R...but there's no way he's better than Marc Bulger going into this next year.
7/10/2007 1:02:30 PM
he was better than marc bulger coming out of college.you have to be kidding me if you were starting a team and would take bulger over rivers. bulger has certainly accomplished more than rivers so far, but give rivers a few years. by that time there won't be anyone outside of st. louis making the argument that bulger is better.[Edited on July 10, 2007 at 1:27 PM. You guys are talking about 2 different things. This comment is relevant to the article:

I'm still laughing at the Rivers and Palmer comment
7/10/2007 2:05:48 PM
swap Hasselbeck and McNabb's rankings and i think the list is accurate

lolololololol @ rivers/palmer comment

What's with the Donovan McNabb hate? Before he went down last season and Jeff Garcia took the reigns, McNabb was having an MVP-like season.
7/10/2007 3:02:20 PM
you have to be an insider to see where delhomme ranks
7/10/2007 3:03:25 PM
^^people are just scared he will get injured again but i think he's a top 5 QB
7/10/2007 3:06:46 PM
The Falcons aren't in the top 10?Do I have to call shenanigans?
7/10/2007 3:58:40 PM
Delhomme ranks 17 iirc.

The golden god should be ranked #1Just wait till rally gets a look at this.
7/10/2007 4:31:28 PM
its not all about stats...vick just knows how to wincourse if he does get good stats one game, it IS About the statsand if he has bad stats, its clearly his team's fault

7/10/2007 4:59:54 PM
it is ranking the teams' qb situation, not the qb....Rivers has better backups than most.
7/10/2007 5:12:49 PM
the Panthers should probably be top 10 thenwe probably have the best backup in the league
7/10/2007 5:15:18 PM
Since when does Michael Vick "know how to win"?
7/10/2007 5:33:41 PM
immediately after a falcon's win
7/10/2007 5:37:11 PM
Tree, your posts in this thread are soooooooo DNLish!
7/10/2007 5:58:38 PM
LOL. Vick forgot how to win after leaving VT.
7/11/2007 1:14:20 AM
well my Vick praise posts are complete sarcasmhowever knowing the criteria for this list I dont see how the Panthers arent at least 10th...aside from having a pretty good QB who had an off year last season, he does have a couple NFC title appearances and a SB appearance...and our backup QB threw for 65% completion last year behind a shitty O-Line, right? How the fuck is Billy Volek better than David Carr?
