And somehow I forgot Hitman Hart: Wrestling with Shadows, which IMO is the best doc ever on the professional wrestling business (much better than Beyond the Mat). It's hard to get on DVD because it was a production of the Canadian government, but you can watch it in its entirety starting here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NDbquF4gan4

oh shit, forgot one of my favorites:Trekkieshahahahaha, shit is so fucking funny, I have Trekkies II but its not as good because most of the people in the first one had realized how big of a tool they had been and they werent quite as dorky the second time around.give a little one sentence description along with the title if you can...

DiG! a.k.a. The Real Napoleon Dynamite^^^^^Somebody took ENG492 Subversive Filmabout fifteen minutes through Land Without Bread I started laughing, and was unable to stop for the rest of it - I kinda felt like a horrible person, but meh, the juxtaposition of homeboy's voice with the images on screen was just unbelievably funny to me at the time.[Edited on June 21, 2007 at 2:07 PM. 6/21/2007 4:14:39 PM
^^ While that isn't a documentary, I would have to recommend "In the Shadow of the Moon" whenever it is released in theaters (and I imagine it will end up getting a wide release). http://imdb.com/title/tt0925248/ Hands down the best documentary related to space travel. Some of the footage is incredible.
6/21/2007 4:26:05 PM
fuschia, i love koyaanisqatsi but how is it a documentary?also: one that wasn't mentioned that i've always liked is "paradise lost: the child murders at robin hood hills". i saw it on hbo in the 90s. basically how a town needed a scapegoat for a ghastly murder of some kids and they found the kids at the local high school who listened to metallica and wore black to peg it on.[Edited on June 21, 2007 at 7:16 PM. ^I watched that doc and it was pretty intense. Didn't the three that got convicted turn out to be innocent and the father of one of the victims was the real murderer, I don't remember it much its been a while.Another good doc is Bus 174
