Has anyone ever used a cleaning/maid service for moving out of a place? I'm moving out of a townhouse soon and need some recommendations like Merry Maid. Thanks!

I've used Stanley Steamer once for the carpets which worked well, but everything else I always did on my own.

It's pretty big...about 1600 sq ft...and in dire need of a good dusting, vacuuming, window cleaning, etc.

Maid services always stick crap in my door. I wouldn't trust the random maid services in my place with the stuff in there, but if you are moving out it shouldn't be much of a concern. Don't get busted by the INS...

I can clean.

That said, those maid services can be $$$ and would likely cost more than your deposit.

merry maids are ok.

had a top to bottom cleaning, but didn't have them remove stains or anything, as i spot treated the carpets myself and the apartment complex took care of the rest.

kinda expensive for a top down cleaning, but the service was good.

And I still do, depending on when you need it cleaned by...and I live in Buies Creek now so I require mileage.. I'm neck deep in my summer class for the next week or so. PM if you need me.
