i just moved here to work with Fluor (talked with both GE and Fluor down here a lot, the position GE offered just wasnt exactly what i wanted atm).

My aunt and uncle are kind of 'big shots' on the HR side down in atlanta and really wanted me to take the position and GE, and i would have had it not been a manufacturing engineering position.

But so far the area is really nice here (i like downtown a lot) and GE is a solid company for sure .

If you ever want to change sides let me know. Got plenty of non-manufacturing positions... we've got around 3,000 engineers.
