Why is my computer playing some dumbass sound in the back? It sounds like some sort of radio show, and at the beginning, they say, 'brought to you by Microsoft.'Today, I heard Beyonce promoting some other stupid no-name in the background. Does anybody know what these are, or have any suggestions on how to stop it?

I don't think so; I don't use AIM at all. I never downloaded it, but it's possible my temp. roommate did. I'd like to say it was doing this before she moved in, but I'm not sure.I'll try deleting IE as soon as I get home

I have no idea why, but my computer/speakers would pick up one of the radio stations around here when I lived up in Bowen. I could only hear it with my ears up close to the speakers when it was completely quiet and the a/c was off. Never did figure that one out and was never loud enough to interfere with anything else. How loud is it?

^That's happened to me as well. My speakers would play some random-ass hispanic radio station whenever I wasn't playing music or whatever. Annoying as hell.

My brother's vcr records the audio from a christian radio station whenever he tries to tape anything. The funny thing is, it first started when he recorded Hellraiser.I shit you not.

Common phenomenon with crappy speakers (ie - computer speakers). The wires act as an antenna.
