I recently bought a new car and was wondering (yes i checked google, he didnt know) if the registration for the following year is included in the purchase price. I just negotiated a total price (no extra taxes, etc.) to pay. I got the registration card and the 2008 blue license tag in the mail today but I haven't paid DMV shit. The dealership sent the card and tag. Was this included in the price of the car? I have had some payment issues with DMV getting my address fucked up in the past, so I want to be sure Im paid in full. Thanks TWW[Edited on June 13, 2007 at 2:18 PM. Reason : didnt really think this was garage, but OK Omar]

if you got the license plate, then that means you're already paid. Just to make sure, either call up the DMV or go to their website and check.

i transferred the plate from the car i traded in, so it's the same tag # but now they sent me a registration good through June 2008 and a new license plate sticker.

on the registration card is a reciept of fees paid, if the taxes and registration are on there as paid, then you're good, but you will still have to pay county property tax on it later[Edited on June 13, 2007 at 2:36 PM. Reason : blah]
