The CNN so-called "debate" was, in reality, a publicity stunt for the establishment-annointed candidates of Giuliani, McCain, & Romney. These three establishment puppet candidates were placed in the center of the stage all beside each other and given a grossly disproportionate amount of air time, while the so-called "second tier" candidates were given much fewer questions and air time. Giuliani, McCain, and Romney were often raising their hands and trying to but in and make comments when it wasn't their turn, as if they cut a deal with CNN and Blitzer to dominate the debate and air time. It was a complete joke.Despite the attempt by CNN (as well as FOXNews and others who've hosted debates) to push Romney, Giuliani, & McCain, the public sees right through the charade and overwhelmingly supports Ron Paul as the GOP nominee. Ron Paul is the REAL frontrunner. The so-called "polls" by CNN/FOX/NBC et all that say Giuliani, McCain, & Romney are the "frontrunners" are complete and total bullshit (ie, manipulative or outright falsified). There is no way in hell that the pro-war, pro-abortion, pro-gun_control Giuliani (or pro-amnesty McCain) is the leader among republicans. Look at any internet poll...ask people you know...or look at any other real indicator...and you will see Ron Paul as the winner of the debates and the lead choice among republicans. Paul is the only thing even close to a genuine conservative candidate who will represent the peoples' interests, and is not a total establishment puppet in favor of the status quo. He's strongly against the Iraq War, against illegal immigration, a strong defender of individual liberty and the Constitution, etc. All the other candidates are in favor of perpetual war and the "war on terror" fraud....and the "Big 3" of Giuliani/Romney/McCain (of which one will almost certainly be SELECTED by the establishment to be the nominee) are in general soft on illegal immigration, gung ho in favor of the war (even whoring for the Jewish establishement and saying they would use nukes against Iran), in favor of gun control, etc.I listened to C-Span following the debate (taking calls from republican & independent voters) and the public in general is absolutely outraged over illegal immigration (as well as strongly against the Iraq war, needless to say), and Ron Paul was the overwhelming choice as the favorite among the GOP candidates. Coming in second was Tancredo due to his strong stance against the disasterous illegal immigration problem.[Edited on June 6, 2007 at 8:23 AM. Reason : 3]

paul will never get the repub. nomination.Better chance running as an independent. I might vote for him as an independent, but pulling for him in the primaries is a waste of time.Besides, hes too radical for washington, and would never get anything that he talks about passed. -- Making him Lame Duck for the entire term. I like some of his ideas, and his back to america first approach, but just dont see him doing anything he talks about.
6/6/2007 8:31:11 AM
that shit about 9/11 being our fault means Paul will never be the nominee
6/6/2007 8:35:25 AM
Most of the establishment/corporate news sites don't even have a poll on the debate. I wonder why? Because they know Ron Paul would clearly win?I found one that did...http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/18963731/

Found another poll...http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2008/debates/scorecard/gop.debate/
6/6/2007 8:45:36 AM
Yeah, you are a dumbass... Those polls are so skewed by the paul faithful who are screaming for credibility when there in fact isnt much there.Look at a real poll. Ask 200 americans at random who they think should win the nomination. You might find 2 that say Ron Paul. Stop believing the fake hype of a skewed online poll full of Ron Paul people. If you really believe in him, then donate to his cause. Then maybe he will actually have some money to use for his campaign instead of relying on all his followers to skew polls for him.

I like ron paul, however, I dont feel there is a snowballs chance he gets the repub nomination. If he runs as an independant, then there is no way he or any repub will win. He will split votes. Its sad, he has a true small govt mentality.

i somewhat agree with salisbury on this one, the media definitely is only covering the top 3, they barely asked any questions of anyone else
6/6/2007 10:54:27 AM
But that makes the stir that Paul is creating even more significant. I, in no way, expect him to get the repub. nomination, but reform has gotta start somewhere, so he'll be getting my support.[Edited on June 6, 2007 at 10:57 AM. Reason : .]

I gotta say, I'd be behind Ron Paul 100% when it comes to the primaries. I mean, the man has simply got his head on straight, he doesn't bullshit like these other "republican" posers that the media is pushing...it's obvious no one is buying the bullshit, so it's gonna come down to whether people put their money where their mouth is and really support this guy come crunch time.Unfortunately, I didn't get to see the debate last night, so if anyone has a good link to it online, I'd really like to see it. I can't really put my $.02 until I have.

Look. 9/11 was clearly an inside job. Anyone who's gone beyond blindly believing the government/establishment story about 9/11 and actually looked into it for themselves knows there is a government cover-up and involvment. The US Air Force was stood down, the 3 towers were brought down in controlled demolitions, bin Laden was framed using doctored/fake tapes, etc, etc, etc. That's one problem I have with Ron Paul. He won't come out and publicly state the truth regarding 9/11, and how the so-called "war on terror" is a complete fraud. But I highly suspect he privately believes it. There is perhaps a good reason for him to not go public...eg, an outright full-blown attack by the establishment to oust him from office, the debates, and end his political career.

there are two types of Ron Paul supporters ... Those who think he has some good ideas but wont get the support he needs. Those who spread the conspiracy theory BS and try to scare americans into voting for Ron Paul.Salisburysteakboy is the latter.I am the former... and my realist perspective makes me want to keep flaming salisbury for his extreme position which actually makes ron paul look worse.
