The Cognitive Ergonomics Lab in the Dept. of Industrial & Systems Engineering is conducting a research project to study how the frequency of events in a virtual environment (VE) is determined based on user perceptions and cognition. Participants are expected to provide 1.5 hours of their time and will receive an honorarium of $15. The experiment involves walking on a treadmill while viewing a VE. You must have normal or corrected to normal vision, have previous experience using treadmills, and not be susceptible to motion sickness for participation in this study. Please contact Tao Zhang at 919-413-8164, tzhang@ncsu.edu or visit Room 458, Daniels Hall for scheduling your experiment time. Sessions will begin starting on June 6, 2007.
