Are there any places in Raleigh that rent rock climbing shoes that can be taken for outside climbing? My boss is taking us rock climbing in Linville Gorge next week. I've never done it before, and probably won't do it all that often, so spending 90 bucks on shoes seems kind of excessive. (And if anybody is trying to sell theirs, I'm about a size 10, and looking for a good beginner's pair of semi-flexed, slip-lasted shoes.)

the rockyard does shoe rentals but the shoes are not that great and i doubt they rent them out for outdoor trips but it might be worth calling and asking

They do have a bunch of different used ones for sale on the bulletin board they have.
