Mo Pete, Q Rich and Jamal are pretty nice players...draft is relatively deep with SG/SFs
5/16/2007 12:57:44 PM
Squintin Quentin Richardson was pretty good
5/16/2007 1:00:21 PM
that draft was never really considered a good draft in the first place.

Jamal Crawford is a little inconsistent but he's got a couple of 50 point games to his credit. I'm a Knicks fan though so, i'm partial.

Etan Thomas writes poetry and pretends to be smart even though what he writes is horrible. Not many NBA players can make that claim other than Gay-Gay.Also Desmond Mason is not a bad player.

2002 wasn't all that either.the first 8 picks from the 2003 draft would be the best nba team of all time. the first five would be the best starting five of all time
5/16/2007 2:31:23 PM
Lebron, Wade, and Mello would be pretty nasty all on one team. Wait...isn't that the USA team that doesn't do shit?
5/16/2007 2:38:18 PM
haha, that was a bad drafti certainly have no good rookie cards from that era
5/16/2007 2:41:06 PM
Pretty bad that just about half of those are out of the NBA already.Michael Redd was a fucking steal....easily the best player in that draft.
5/16/2007 3:17:10 PM
Yeah, I will agree Redd was the best. However, I think K-Mart (Denver) would have been the best if he wasn't injury-plagued.

2000 was a bad draft, but most of the first rounders are at least still in teh league 7 years later. 1986 draft, also in contention, along with 2001. Both these drafts had some good players come out of them, but a ton of flops too. http://www.thedraftreview.comgood site for historical stuff, can sort draft picks by school. state has had 25 draft picks total, with D. Thompson being the only top pick. Washburn was #3 in '86, Googs was a #6 pick...[Edited on May 17, 2007 at 12:40 PM. Reason : ..][Edited on May 17, 2007 at 12:40 PM. State is one of only a few schools that has had a 1st round pick the last 2 years (Ced Simmons to New Orleans this past year, Hodge to Denver the year before)I'm sure Atsur will get drafted in the 1st round to keep the streak alive
