You know that whole joke about why the Brits like their beer warm, right?

'cause Lucas makes their refrigerators too.

It's kinda funny...Cummins actually used Lucas injectors on some of the marine/industrial 6BT's.

Everybody calls them PODs for short.

POD = Prince of Darkness

Tons of MGs, Triumphs, a couple Lotuses and at least one Rolls Royce. Optimus has lots of pictures. Even some Rover cars.

Hehe I think I'll take the 110 next year and enter it in the Rover category. I should have the new door posts on and rust fixed by then.

The Lotus 7 from those pics is looking nice. I like the stance on that light blue bug too.

when i pulled up to the british car show in this thing i got a lot of funny looks, so i said what the hell and entered it. they protested a little at first, but i convinced them with the british tag on the front.

i was at normal ride height in the registration line, then as LoYotaNCSU and i pulled away from the tent to the car show area i dumped the air... hahaha it was great riding past the rolls and lotus guys in a v-dub

later while they were announcing winners, i fired it up and made a couple passes by, one with the nose down snowplowing it, the other with the ass end down spreading exhaust pipe all over the lot. maybe they will write something about the german nuicance in they next NCMGCC newsletter.
