http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/6805790Sounds like he got really upset when they didn't get Randy Moss, and he's pissed off at the organization...It's pretty sad, but all he wants to do is win.
5/13/2007 5:28:47 PM
I doubt he really wants out, but when you offer to give up some of your salary to pay for a Randy Moss contract and they STILL don't get him, I bet it's pretty insulting.
5/13/2007 5:41:23 PM
Well that makes favre the biggest flip flopper in the NFL. I distinctly remember him throwing his $.02 in when Moss was in Minn. and that story broke about him taking plays off and how Favre didn't repsect that and he'd never play with a guy like that. And now he's angry with Green Bay for not getting him, hmm?
5/13/2007 6:07:51 PM
well to be fairthat was BEFORE he gave up all his dignity for one last shot at glory
5/13/2007 6:11:59 PM
This guy just needs to retire or stop bitching
5/13/2007 6:28:26 PM
Someone kneecap him and lets end this already.
5/13/2007 6:52:13 PM
5/13/2007 7:56:32 PM
Oh I don't blame moss one bit, he has gotten a bad rap since draft day in 98, and he realizes there is nothing he can do to win over the public so he just embraces his negative public image, has some fun with it. But for Favre to say he "would never play with a guy like that" or something to that effect (can't exactly remember his words, but very similar to that) means I can't take him seriously anymore. I've always thought of him as a no nonsense guy who shoots from the hip, not so apparently. Oh and division rivals and not wanting to play with him for that reason is not valid in any professional sport, money talks, not "because player X in the NFL/NBA/MLB won't play with player Y because X is in the same division."
5/13/2007 8:04:38 PM
honestly like other than bret farve i dont know to many people that want to play with mossi wouldnt want him on my team...
5/13/2007 8:08:40 PM
5/13/2007 9:07:47 PM
Yeah, I know right? God, I'd be pissed too if I heard that my quarterback was trying to help bring more talent to the team. I mean, there's no possible way that adding an explosive deep threat to the team that requires more than one man covering him would open up more opportunities for the other, less experienced and less talented WRs to make more plays.
5/13/2007 9:39:39 PM
^its not like a lot of people would want to play with moss
5/13/2007 9:57:14 PM
Moss isn't young and juvenille nowObviously, since New England picked him up[Edited on May 14, 2007 at 2:07 AM. Reason : ..]
5/14/2007 2:06:53 AM
if K-Rob can stay out of jail, he'll a good target for Favre
5/14/2007 6:31:33 AM
5/14/2007 8:49:34 AM
i bet moss turns into a born again whitey when he goes to NE
5/14/2007 8:51:55 AM
^^, Never means never to me, and favre didn't say this in a post game heat of the moment type thing...And it's not like Moss has done a 180 as far as attitude is concerned out in Oakland, in fact he may have gotten worse according to the "experts." So why has Favre all of a sudden gone from being disgusted with a guy like Moss to wanting him so badly that he is "upset" with the front office for not getting him???? My point is that, yea you can change your opinion of someone, but that usually entails that someone changing an aspect of their attitude, in which case, Moss has for the most part not.[Edited on May 14, 2007 at 10:21 AM. 5/14/2007 10:16:39 AM
Moss has laid low, stayed out of trouble, and has rarely been in the headlines since he went to Oakland. Thats a good enough change for me when it comes to getting one of the top WR's in the game
5/14/2007 12:46:31 PM
He's laid low alright. He just stopped trying in Oakland. It must be nice having a quitter on your team.
5/14/2007 1:17:29 PM
its the raiders he should be commended for quitting
5/14/2007 2:07:22 PM
5/14/2007 2:15:16 PM
Better selfish and washed up than a crappy crybaby.
5/14/2007 4:26:18 PM
favre has been crying for the last 3 seasons...but why would i expect a packers fan to realize thatand that crappy crybaby has had a lot better playoff success than favre over the last few years]
5/14/2007 4:29:04 PM
So successful that there was a QB controversy between him and Chris Weinke.Lets not be ludicrious here.
5/14/2007 4:36:07 PM
apparently you're still living in 1996 when favre and the packers were worth a shitand if QB controversy = vocal minority of idiots calling for weinke, then ok]
5/14/2007 4:50:57 PM
Don't hate the Packers because you're pre-season Super Bowl favorite of a football team can't even make the playoffs. Also, considering we were significantly closer to making the playoffs last year than Carolina was, I'd say we're worth quite a bit of shit.As opposed to the Panthers who just are shit.[Edited on May 14, 2007 at 6:20 PM. I know that if I'm Donald Driver, I'm super pissed that they were interested in a wide receiver with a completely different skillset from me that also demands double coverage.SUPER PISSED.
5/14/2007 6:26:58 PM
favre wants to win?what a bastard!
5/14/2007 7:05:32 PM
Whover is trying to EVEN COMPARE the crybaby/Delhomme to Favre is a NEWB/IDIOT....SEE: 3 CONSECUTIVE MVP'S
5/15/2007 12:37:30 AM
the favre fanboy made the initial comparison
5/15/2007 2:45:12 AM
Favre sucks.
5/15/2007 7:43:09 AM
5/15/2007 9:50:42 AM
i was talking about this thread
5/15/2007 12:28:29 PM
funny...if the panthers had pulled out a win in superbowl 38 delhomme would be favre...they've got a lot in common...when they're on, they're on...but they also arent afraid to make the dumb pass...but since the patriots won sb38, delhomme gets shitted on for a 40 year old qb from fsu while favre continues to put his selfish faggot self above the whole packers organization...all the packers fans think favre is one of the best ever, when in reality he isnt sniffing the jocks of joe montana, john elway, tom brady, etc
5/15/2007 1:12:07 PM
5/15/2007 1:35:16 PM
they were both 8-8 and neither team made the playoffsbut whatever moral victory you want to award yourself for being """""Significantly Closer"""""" is fine
5/15/2007 1:36:39 PM
I'm sure Delhomme had a nice big cry about missing the playoffs.
5/15/2007 1:38:23 PM
Aha, you are using the NFL's arcane tiebreaker rules as justification that the Packers were a better team than the Panthers last year, despite the fact that they finished with the same record and the Panthers had a much tougher schedule. What a fucking joke.
5/15/2007 1:38:40 PM
^^I'm sure Favre called a nice big press conference to announce that he once again wasn't retiring
5/15/2007 1:39:36 PM
Favre wants to leave his legacy, thats why he is coming back for one more year.http://jasonjeffrey.wordpress.com/brett-favre-career-interception-record-watch/
5/15/2007 1:50:47 PM
^loli'm telling you, favre is delhomme + a superbowl
5/15/2007 2:14:38 PM

5/15/2007 6:01:42 PM
^^ and 2 mvps ....
5/15/2007 6:35:23 PM
Favre is doodoo now. I'd rather have Mike Vick on my team than him.

5/15/2007 11:35:52 PM

hey guys my name is brett favre...i had an amazing game after my dad died, so because of that performance you should let me throw 30 INTs a year until i'm 60 cause i've earned it
