Perhaps I'm just retarded, but I cannot find any solid information on adult rec leagues in Raleigh. I really want to play on a team sport this summer before I leave for good. One more good memory about Raleigh would be great. Any info is great.Help me TWW, you're my only hope.

There are roller hockey, ice hockey, and indoor soccer leagues year round. I'm pretty sure you could find some summer tennis leagues if you wanted to. Any other sports and you're just wasting your time.

^ What he said.Hockey teams are usually short in summer, too, so it'd be easy to grab a spot.

http://www.trissc.com/I play TriSports year round and have a blast. It can be expensive, but it's worth it to me. I also had difficulty finding rec leagues before I starting playin in TriSports.

That seems like a dating club where they sometimes play organized sports for fun.Plus, the membership form says, "TRI Sports reserves the right to deny admittance or terminate the membership if the participant exhibits anti-social, inappropriate or disruptive behavior..."To me, that would suggest no fighting.USA Hockey only gives you a one game suspension for fighting in rec league. ]

it is a social league, but it is a sports-based league (for the sports activities). It's on par with the intramurals at state that I played (but most of the leagues are co-ed).
