284 is a bit light these days for defensive tackle. But if Sapp can get back some of his quickness from his younger days, that should more than make up for his lighter weight.

statistically speaking it would simply be unlikely for them to put together a season as bad as last one

all that's missing is offense. if the offense had put up around 17-20 points a game last year, the defense could have carried them to the playoffs.
