That X2VGA really does work great, one of my friends used one for a while and it worked like a chamr and the image quality was pretty damn good.

make sure your device is set to progressive output.
5/5/2007 12:11:55 AM
hmm so you think it might still work ?http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824112005^---my monitor[Edited on May 5, 2007 at 12:30 AM. Reason : .]

It doesn't say specifically there. If you set up the system for progressive scan output, and hooked it up, and it didn't work, then it's probably not going to work. This has some more info on how it works though: http://www.xbox-linux.org/wiki/Xbox_VGA_HOWTO#The_hardware
5/5/2007 1:11:53 AM
i don't see how i can set the shit to progressive scan when all i have to work with is an LCD and a sony trinitron 480i television =\
5/5/2007 2:27:35 AM
You hook it up using the composite cables, go to setup menu, choose progressive scan output, display might flicker, then hook up the component cables, and it should work, if it's going to work.I assuming you already have the lot of adapters/cables and are trying to hook up with the component cables.[Edited on May 5, 2007 at 2:32 AM.
