if you have the bb service plan on the 360 and something legitimately happens to it, what do you think the odds are of them letting you upgrade to the elite if you pay the price diff?

With service plans, they usually give the choice or replacement or store credit.

When I had to get my PSP replaced (that's playstation portable, not Performance Service Plan) they just sent me a $250 gift card in the mail. They even let me keep the old one (which I promptly sent off for repairs that cost $80) I don't think they'd care if you exchanged one product for another.]

If you call the 1-888-bestbuy, they will send you a box to mail it to somewhere and then they will mail you a voucher for what you originally paid. Takes about 2 weeks total but you can use hte voucher towards anything

This is what it used to be a while ago. It has probably changed by now:PRP= Get a new one at the store. basically you get what you paid. ie: if price has dropped you get the difference in store credit.PSP=Send it away for who knows how long. Unless the item is no longer serviced at the BB service center; then you get an item of "equal comparable value." If they still sell the same Item it means you get one. If they no longer carry that item you may get something that costs less, and you don't get the difference.Platinum PSP (used to be laptops only could be more now?): send it away with promise that it will be back in a week, get very angry when it takes 2-3.

The PRP on the game systems has changed and they will not switch it out at the store level anymore
