it's called ljzjxwi.exe and I've ended it in the task manager, killed it in process explorer, uninstalled it from the programs panel in addition to several other unrecognizable programs but it keeps popping up. What is it?

based solely on the name of the binary, i'm guessing it's a virus. viruses commonly name themselves using random characters. run SAV or something like it.http://www.ncsu.edu/antivirus/

you really don't need to bother with the registry at this point. This is what you need to do.1) Boot into safe mode (tap F8 when the system is starting up, select safe mode with networking)2) Download/install/update/run a combination of the following scanners.
