I'm not trying to be offensive. It's a sad story, and it's a nice looking dog, and I wouldn't mind watching a 3-legged dog try and run around.I hope he gets his treatment. It would be a shame to go through all of that, and have it end because of heartworms.

this is ridiculous. if my memory serves me, heart worm treatment is a shot or two in the muscle - cost me $158 at cost for a great dane. takes time for the dog to recover, but it's not surgery. a vet should donate this shot and care, since it really doesn't cost them anything. there are tons of abused dogs and cats out there. my heart does not bleed for this dog. Cesar Milan would explain that this dog isn't suffering emotional turmoil due to his circumstances. he isn't worth a fund-raiser. SHHT!

But I'm sure the rescue could use the donations to help other dogs. If you don't care about it, don't donate.

you could donate to a fund to feed children and probably save a few children for this pricetag

what pricetag? The video said any donation is accepted, no matter how small. But its good to know that you feed hungry children. How nice of you.
