If you've ever coached or played football, been in the press, or just been a fan for a while you know... if you're on the sidelines you WILL get hit. It's just a matter of time. I'm not saying civilians and even kids in general should be banned from the sidelines... but a 4 year-old? His parents should have needed a rule to tell them that was a bad idea.
4/24/2007 10:00:40 PM
I feel sorry for the player..he was like hey I caught the ball, and a baby. 14pts.
4/25/2007 12:39:52 AM
(12 points)
4/25/2007 12:41:34 AM
Wow, did the guy hold onto the ball?If not sign the kid as a DB and give him credit for breaking up the pass.

4/25/2007 2:40:22 AM
kid on the sidelines, behind the players? sure. BUT NOT IN THE BACK OF THE FUCKING END ZONEfucking stupid parents.when i was a kid, i was in the general vicinity of all sorts of dangerous shit at races (hot engines, heavy stuff suspended from the ground, not to mention getting run over by a porsche 962 or something), but no one let me get near something that was really hazardous. christ.
4/25/2007 3:03:08 AM
poor kid... way to go dad
4/25/2007 9:16:54 AM
hey hey let's jump to conclusionsthe family and player were on the today show this morning. it was a spring game and shit happens. the family's not suing the school and there's no hard feelings. they might tighten up were people can stand but that's about it.the kid's fine- case closed.
4/25/2007 9:47:46 AM
what exactly would the family sue the school for?!
4/25/2007 1:10:17 PM
The school should sue the family. Now that would be awesome!
4/25/2007 1:11:46 PM
http://youtube.com/watch?v=Je8N-lP_T5QWalk it off kid...
4/25/2007 2:38:00 PM
Kid should have been paying attention to the game
4/25/2007 5:17:37 PM
I'm glad the kid wasn't black or this would have probably been turned into some huge racial issue by now.
4/25/2007 5:24:11 PM
^^^^^ This is America; they would have FOUND something to sue for if they wanted to pursue that route. Some of the lawsuits that are filed (AND WON) are absolutely insane.
4/25/2007 9:30:54 PM
4/25/2007 9:36:50 PM
Shouldn't have been standing there.
4/25/2007 11:59:38 PM
^agreed....glad he's ok though.
