ok got 2 questions. 1) How do you polish coated aluminum polished wheels? I've been using Mothers Mag & Aluminum Polish, but I just read their detailing guide and it says to not use that on coated wheels like I have ('06 GP GXP). But the detailing guide does not say what to use.... I got tons of very tiny scratches on my rims, and bought the Mag polish hoping it would take em out, but never did. Anyone have any advice??2) If it rains, and my car sits overnight (in garage or outside) when i fisrt turn on my car and start to move it, I hear a sound like my breaks are engaged and its breaking away. My roomate has an '06 saab and his does this as well he says. we cant figure out if its due to rust or what. anyone have similar problem and know how to fix.

No. 2 is normal, you'll see cars that have been used a lot and sat through a night with rain or heavy dew, it rusts up the brake dust on the discs and that shit gets scraped off the first time you use them again. I guess you could try ceramic pads instead for less dust and less rust. I dunno bout 1, I gotz unpolished.

you treat clear coated wheels just like painted ones, most polishes have abrasives that will fuck up clear coat, try automotive paint scratch remover

ok cool. good idea to get rid of the scratches. so there is nothing I can use to make em polished and shiny? would i maybe wax em just like I would to paint?
