which of the 5 boroughs do they say "yall" in?
4/23/2007 9:46:09 AM
winnar
4/23/2007 11:31:02 AM
teh Rocket is pitching his first game against the SoxI hope he gets rocked so the yankees realize they wasted an enormous amount fo money
5/11/2007 9:45:36 PM
^ Don't be ridiculous, it's important for an organization to spend pro rated 28M for a pitcher who will pitch once every 5 games over fixing a bullpen that is less than average and pithces nearly every day.
5/11/2007 10:21:00 PM
clemens will maaaaybe pitch 6 innings a startif that
5/11/2007 10:31:13 PM
btt for Mondaythe Yankees play the subway series and then they play the bosoxsuckers
5/20/2007 8:55:35 PM
I'll be at tomorrow night's game. Come on Yanks!!!!
5/21/2007 1:31:45 PM
fuck boston
5/21/2007 1:43:16 PM
fuck both of youGo Sox!!!
5/21/2007 6:04:18 PM
Tonight is the game the Yanks should win. If we take the first 2 out of three, I think the Yankees will have finally arrived.
5/22/2007 10:13:21 AM
arrived?because they could possibly have won a series?? at home? LOL[Edited on May 22, 2007 at 10:19 AM. Reason : ,]
5/22/2007 10:14:22 AM
no, because they are finally getting good pitching, good hitting, and healthy at the same time.it actually started in the game against glavine and the mets when they scored 7 runs, then next game they won, and last night they just completely outplayed boston. The yanks should sweep this series.
5/22/2007 11:02:44 AM
The Yankees have the pitching match up this time around the; their #1,2,3 starters vs Bostons 4,5,1 starter. Wednesday will be the best game of the series. Your right we might get swept, but we will still have the lead. We are relatively healthy with the exception of Beckett who will be back next week.
5/22/2007 11:17:23 AM
They'll probably lose tonight b/c I'm going
5/22/2007 1:23:36 PM
Jesus christ. I mean I know it's early and all, and no sox fan I know is banking on the lead. But the yanks salvage a game vs the mets and win against wake when his stuff wasn't breaking, and suddenly they've turned the season around? 4 stolen bases - yeah, those knuckleball sure are tough to run on
5/22/2007 1:54:51 PM
I love Yankees fans. They still have the arrogance to brag like winning 1 of 3 in a series against their second biggest rival is going to turn the year around. I'm sure Fatcessa is proclaiming them the best team in New York again after an amazing 2 game win streak.
5/22/2007 1:57:22 PM
dont hate. we lost early because we had constant injuries. Any baseball fan, regardless of team affiliation, should recognize the last few days that the yankees are starting to get healthy and put it together.david wright hits a lot of homeruns, by the way, but he still talks like a faggot.
5/22/2007 2:04:30 PM
had injuries? i'm sorry, but did everyone suddenly become healthy? i must have missed when Hughes, Karstens, Pavano, Rasner, Sanchez, and Veras came off the DL todayi fully expect the yanks to take at least 2 of these games. your top of the rotation against our bottom? 1 of 3 would be fine by me[Edited on May 22, 2007 at 2:59 PM. Reason : .]
5/22/2007 2:58:20 PM
^ Sanchez, Veras and Rasner are irrelevant. Sanchez has never played in the big leagues. Veras sucks. Rasner was a fill in. Karstens sucked anyway. Pavano will never be healthy and wasnt counted on.Hughes will be back soon...but Damon, Giambi are both healthier now and swinging better. Wang is back to full strength. Mussina is making is 4th start off the DL tonight, so he's healthy. Hughes is the only one I miss. and he'll be back soon
5/22/2007 3:23:39 PM
^ I wouldn't call Giambi healthy just because he got a hold of one last night. He still has pain in his heel. I do hope he's okay though because I need his high OPS on my fantasy team
5/22/2007 4:38:47 PM
Sox up 4-0
5/22/2007 8:28:31 PM
4-2 now. I think Tavaras is out of the game now. Got his pitch count up and are into the bullpen. Here comes A-Rod, Posada, Abreu, Giambi, Cano
5/22/2007 8:57:23 PM
We gotta close the deal when we get guys on base like that...c'mon boys
5/22/2007 8:58:23 PM
oh yeah - really healthy huh? your #2 just lost to the bottom of the sox's rotationmussina 2-2 - sure looks sharp to me. but look at the bright side, if schilling loses tomorrow, you'll make up a whole game on the sox in your house
5/22/2007 10:28:05 PM
Well, they were very close to getting the tying run to the plate in the 9th with no outsTHE MORAL VICTORIES FOR THE YANKEES CONTINUE!
5/22/2007 10:37:27 PM
lol - in the espn.com summary...someone forgot to remove the placeholder
5/22/2007 11:49:28 PM
health wasnt the problem...location was. and lack of clutch hitting. they just lost tonight, it had nothing to do with health.they will put it together soon. Giambi, A-Rod, Cano all hit the ball hard right at people. either way, it doesnt matter. its only May 22nd....still like 118 games left or some shit. When it heats up and the ball starts flyin out of the park, the teams with the most power hitters will benifit, and guess who that is?
5/22/2007 11:55:55 PM

5/23/2007 9:47:25 AM
That fucking sucked last night! Dammit. Oh well, at least it was fun watching the countless fans being ejected, not to mention the 6 yr old in the bathroom that gave a bunch of yank fans the bird with both hands. I laughed my ass off at that.
5/23/2007 2:57:03 PM
Haha, figures. The one Mets game I got to out here was the only one they lost and they gave up NINE runs in one inning. I'm probably going to get down to L.A. for one more and they better f'ing win that one.. if not I'm sitting in the all you can eat section so I'll just gorge myself.
5/23/2007 3:00:01 PM
Things are looking promising now...
5/23/2007 8:12:16 PM
2 out of 3 from the "best team in baseball" when they were red hot.pettitte was nasty tonight, and cano/damon are starting to hit. watch out.
5/23/2007 10:16:53 PM
jesus christ, you are the prototypical yankees fan. when the fuck did 9 hits and 2 SO's become nasty? congrats on getting the pitching matchups you needed to win a series. the sad thing is, there is no reason why you shouldn't have swept - moose just blew in game 2and no need for quotes - at 31-15, they are indeed the best team in baseball right now.
5/24/2007 9:55:22 AM
haha and you are the prototypical red sox fan. Loving your hot start...but we'll see where you are in August.Pettitte was nasty, forget his line. you're gonna give up hits when you have a 6-0 lead, cause its all about throwing strikes and not nibbling. His STUFF was nasty, and he outpitched your golden blog boy in a big way.
5/24/2007 10:06:58 AM
To hell with the Yankees!BoSox!!!
5/24/2007 11:16:27 AM
Fuck Boston.Good win last night.
5/24/2007 1:07:36 PM
of course I am - why else would I talk shit you yankees fans in the fact of dropping 2 of 3 but i have made it well known that I don't expect this lead to endure the entire year. i have to get it while the gettin is good. this is as far down as I've seen the yanks in quite a while, so before we blow the season after the break, I gotta get my hits in is it just me, or ar the yanks and sox playing too many of their games in the first half of the season? 12 of the 18 are played before the first week of june is up...seems kind of messed up to me. I'd rather have it the other way around
5/24/2007 2:13:35 PM
The Yankees need to quit playing "New York, New York" after games. They are now a stain on the city and second class citizens. A corporate entity with white collar fans. The Mets are more representative of the city with their blue collar fanbase and have rightful claim to that song. Besides, the Yankees originated in Baltimore as the Highlanders so the Mets are the only current NYC baseball team truly from New York./feeler troll
5/24/2007 4:23:02 PM
I can get with that.
5/24/2007 4:26:02 PM
^^ the yankees existed 60+ years before the mets, dumbass.
5/24/2007 4:32:13 PM
I was just trolling Pat (Tke-Teg) because I don't think he knows that much about the Yankees history, but what I said was true. The Mets are the only team still playing in NYC that originated there as well. I obviously realize the Yankees have been around longer and probably are tied more closely to NYC than the Mets worldwide..[Edited on May 24, 2007 at 4:41 PM. Reason : x]
5/24/2007 4:41:21 PM
bttmfttime for the yankees to fall even further behind in the standings
