Everything is on sale. Don't know how long it has been going on but they have some shit left.

Macs on sale?
4/21/2007 12:50:01 PM
I was there last weekend and they had a few Macs on sale. Nothing crazy or anything.

if you do your research correctly, you will see that things are not really "on sale." what they did was mark up the items at a certain percentage and then give a percent off due to store closings and needing to clear inventory. however, even with the certain percent off, you are still most likely gonna pay more than online. i realized this last month at a store that is closing by me. they just want to give the illusion you are getting a discount but you really are not.

No, they actually have shit on sale. I bought a 6dbi wifi antenna for like $20 a few weeks back.Good luck on finding anything in there worth buying now, though. That sale has been going on for at least 2 months now.[Edited on April 21, 2007 at 1:13 PM. Reason : .]

Poor CompUSA, they were good for things every now and then....

$20 was worth it to me for not having to wait for delivery and rebate.

when that one GPS that everyone was talking about in techtalk went onsale for 150 or something a couple weeks ago, i tried to find the glenwood loc. on their site and via 411 but i couldn't.

what do you need a wifi antenna for? doesnt your router have one?or is it for boosting signal?
4/21/2007 5:42:13 PM
i've just been going to tiger direct

All the good stuff is gone. If people weren't so fucking stupid and just collectively waited before buying shit instead of freaking out because Macs are 5% off and snatching them all up right away, you'd get some really good deals at store closings.

it's a signal booster, Volcom

Console games and accessories are 25% off now.

The one thing I hated the most about that CompUSA was the fucking U-turn you had to make to get to them if you were going north on 70.They're pretty much irrelevant here in Raleigh. Tiger has a better selection of parts and you can get anything else they sold at Best Buy, Circuit City, etc.

that phone number didn't work. I assumed they were already closed since on compusa.com raleigh wasn't a valid location. I couldn't drive to glenwood ave. w/o knowing it wouldnt be a wasted trip.

if they close then tweeters will be in trouble also,
