what are these used for?
4/21/2007 3:02:13 PM
they come with windows ce embedded, they are used for things like realvnc and citrix access. Basically they are a whole computer without any drives. so they can run on remote desktop or citrix servers.

good for industrial use where you need computer access to a database but you dont need your employees fucking around trying to play music and shit like that

yea, i have them because i live in a big ass house and had wifi vnc stations everywhere so i wouldnt have to walk 5 minutes to my room to google somehting for a bet

hmmm...i'll think about that, actuallydumb question - are they touchscreens? if not, how do you interface?
4/21/2007 3:33:28 PM
not touchscreen, they have usb and ps/2 ports along with a dozen other normal ports. These are the newer modelhttp://www.televideo.com/TeleVideo/documents/75507750datasheet_001.pdf

newer models start at 1000, these are just a few years old and i have no use for them.

do you know the processor speed and RAM size?
4/21/2007 3:39:57 PM
no sorry, you may be able to look it up
4/21/2007 3:41:45 PM
i have a power adaptor that works with them, i cant sell it but it does work. I can show you both of them working though if you have any doubts.

d'oh! i completely missed the model # looks like 300mhz processor and 64mb RAMhttp://www.dealtime.com/xPF-TeleVideo-TeleVideo-TeleCLIENT-TC7380-Thindo you know how upgradeable these are, if at all? it says SDRAM, so i would assume standard SDRAM chips work?
4/21/2007 3:45:36 PM
not sure, i got them for like 100 a piece a couple of years ago and never have opened them. They are stan alone web surfers, so they dont need much ram since they dont have hard drives.
