firefox + greasemonkey + message_topic.aspx?topic=327923 or http://thalions.com/greasemonkey/ (Gallery Image Relinker will do what you need)

this only works on your computer - it's a fix on the viewing end, not the displaying end. for everyone to see it large, you need HTML or that \/
