Hickson didnt make it but two Duke signees did. The third team has some questionable inclusions with Nolan Smith and Corey Fisher.http://www.usatoday.com/sports/preps/basketball/2007-04-17-all-usa-boys_N.htm

Cue the "Hickson gets no respect threads". I can see them now...

maybe hickson is overrated.what other explanation is there

^more like the dukies are overrated.....Hickson has been beasting in all the all star games he's been playing in.
4/18/2007 11:14:37 AM
^yeah, he was co-mvp in the last one he played in

Pretty much. Whereas some of the players on that list left me underwhelmed.
4/18/2007 11:29:31 AM
oh no! he wasn't selected?!?

Hickson is the type of player that is going to develop and dominate his freshman/(sophmore?) year

why exactly is nolan smith a questionable inclusion?
4/18/2007 2:51:17 PM
Should he have made it? YesCould this apply to some people's theory of how NCSU gets no positive media? YesAm I upset? NOI hope this inspires Hickson to be even more of a beast.

The list does seem to show the difference of opinions when it comes to ranking prospects. In regards to Nolan Smith, he is #38 according to rivals, #6 according to ESPN, and #31 according to Scout.com. Maybe the USAToday folks just didnt see a ton in JJ Hickson. I hope it motivates him
