Ok, maybe the stupid question of the day, but is there anyway around using an Exchange Server to remote sync to my computer while I'm wireless and still in my network? I know in previous Outlook versions you could share calendars, contacts, etc. without a server. But I don't have an Exchange Server and we sure as hell ain't spending 8k or more just to be able to sync a few PDAs. So is it possible, or am I just screwed?BTW, I am using Windows Mobile Device Center on Vista on my PC, and WM5 on my PPC6700.[Edited on April 17, 2007 at 9:15 AM. Reason : ]

i haven't found a way.if you want a copy of exchange, i have a license i'm not using that i got in my MSDN subscription, though giving it to you wouldn't be entirely legal.

Haha thanks but its not that big of a deal and my boss will not throw up any somewhat less than legal software on a school system network, esp. as a server. If I get an e-mail message I just have to switch over to the actual account that I setup with the login info and hit Send/Receive on my Pocket PC Outlook to get the e-mail. No big deal really, just Remote Sync would have been a little bit nicer.[Edited on April 17, 2007 at 11:22 AM. Reason : ]

you could always pay for hosted Exchange so you dont have to foot the bill on a new server
