what are some other solid gamecube games? I know nintendo games are usually pretty good. I really liked that mario baseball game when I rented it and will probably buy it. I'm wondering if there are any "fun" games like mario kart/strikers... the main reason I own the gamecube is to play it with friends, though I don't mind single player games as long as I've got time. I couldn't get into super smash brothers, though.

mario party 4 is the best of the gamecube bunch id say (5 is faster but games arent as good).

donkey konga is a barrel of laughs

killer 7 has a pretty good story and the art style is interesting. controls might be wierd at first, but they work.

eternal darkness is awesome, much like all the other silicon knights games.

If you have the equipment Zelda: four swords adventure is one of the best multiplayer experiences on the gamecube.

ive been playing metroid prime and just a few hours into it but it doesnt seem that great yet. Does it pick up in action soon? The bosses i have faced so far are far too simple. Just wondering if it picks up soon, and if not what the fuck makes this game so great?

varied level design
good boss battles (have you fought the giant plant yet?)
insane attention to detail
fighting the space pirates is fun (you'll know when you're fighting them because they have their own theme music)
