Long story short, my cat had kittens. Do not waste your time telling me how I'm a bad pet owner and bla bla bla. I'm against letting cats breed for just the sake of getting cute kittens. There are already too many unwanted pets in shelters and on the streets, and I don't want to add to it. I found my cat on the side of the highway...I was TOLD she could be spayed at 6mths old. Well, she wasted no time. When we went to get her spayed, she looked pregnant, so we waited just incase, so the kittens wouldnt be aborted.turns out she was pregnant. She had 5 adorable little babies. One solid black, one black with white, one solid orange, and two orange and white. I may be keeping the black and white kitten (I haven't decided yet), and one of the orange and white kittens are already spoken for. They are 14days old, they were born March 31st. So, they won't be available until mid May. They are free, BUT I am asking a $50 refundable fee, which will be given back to you when you have proof to me that you have gotten your kitty spayed/neutered. Please do not ask me to waive the $50 for you....several people have tried this already. If you cant afford the $50 adoption fee, you can't afford the cat...and chances are you won't get around to getting the cat spayed and neutered. I'm just trying to keep the kittens best interest in mind. I will not adopt to just anyone with $50. Vet refferences would be great. And I'd like to see where they'd be living.Any questions, feel free to ask. Here are some recent pictures of them from a couple days ago:I can take more if you want to see a specific kitten.Oh, and I think they're all males.

I wish my place would let me have pets! I would so take that black one

what is the sex of the unspoken orange kitten?[Edited on April 13, 2007 at 10:05 PM. Reason : nvm, i read the last line]
4/13/2007 10:03:22 PM
theyre all males.there is an all orange kitten, and an orange kitten with white paws and stomach
4/13/2007 10:04:36 PM

4/17/2007 9:20:06 PM

4/17/2007 9:23:55 PM

4/17/2007 9:25:39 PM
I want the 3 friends
4/17/2007 9:32:28 PM
*UPDATE* all of the kittens are available except the all orange one.i have:2 orange and white boys, an all black boy, and a black and white boy still available!!i'll be posting on craigslist in a couple days, so they'll probably get snatched pretty fast. so let me know.if you plan on declawing, please do not email me asking for them. if you do not plan on getting them fixed, do not email me....
4/17/2007 9:42:07 PM
So technically they're not free though...I call false advertising!
4/17/2007 10:37:35 PM
uhmmm. how arent they free? if you get your money back after you get them spayed/neutered, then yeah...they are free. don't get your panties in a twist, just because you came here looking to put down zero dollars to get a cute lil kitten, and i went and screwed your plans up. excuse me for tryin to look out for their best interest. if you cant afford the $50 upfront (that you get BACK), then what makes me think you can afford a cat? false advertising? uht oh! go run to the moderators and cry them a river. this girl over here is false advertising![Edited on April 17, 2007 at 10:44 PM. Dibs on an orange one, pm sent.
4/18/2007 10:40:56 AM
I will post here when someone has reserved a specific kitten. As of now, only the solid orange one has been reserved (they originally wanted an orange and white one, but changed their mind)
4/18/2007 2:30:22 PM
I wasn't counting on a free kitten. I was pointing out the fact that it was false advertising. Because you technically need $50 + the money it costs to neuter, since you will be retaining the $50 until afterwards. Then, you also need to qualify for a low cost neuter, otherwise it will cost much more than said $50. Anyway, if people bitch about an adoption fee they don't really deserve the animal in the first place, b/c how will they pay for its upkeep and if needs to go to the vet?

4/18/2007 3:15:32 PM
Aaww...I wish my place allowed kitties. These guys are adorable! And just curious. TECHNICALLY, once people had the cat, you wouldn't know if they got them declawed. (Or even fixed for that matter.) What's your issue with declawing?[Edited on April 18, 2007 at 3:31 PM. Reason : some freaky linking going on...]
4/18/2007 3:30:59 PM
well, it would be nice if they could be honest. im just against declawing because it mutilates the cats, and it cuts off their first knuckle. and i'd really rather these kittens not have to go thru that sort of trauma/pain. you show me the reciept from your vet saying you got the animal spayed/neuetered, along w/ a description of the cat.
4/18/2007 3:35:56 PM
dibs on one (not sure what color) cause the bf wants a friend for his kitty. do boy cats fight like other animals or would they be friends?
4/18/2007 4:13:22 PM
my cats have never had a problem. of course it always takes time for them to adapt and get used to eachother...but thats with most animals (and people. hahaha)
4/18/2007 4:21:20 PM
Def cats mingle the best
4/18/2007 4:23:59 PM
i called and i guess he doesn't want a kitten friend for his 5 month old kitty. poor guy's gonna be lonely instead.
4/18/2007 5:38:28 PM
i will take an orange one if they are still available. i promise i won't declaw and i have a kickass screened in porch for him/her to play in.
4/18/2007 6:04:32 PM
Don't mess, this girl sounds like a complete bitch
4/18/2007 8:39:08 PM
if me wanting whats best for these kittens makes me a bitch, then yeah, i guess i am one. i dont want someone to think a kitten they are interested in, is already taken, because someone else says they got "dibs", when that person with "dibs" may not be a suitable home for the kitten. bitch or not. who am i to care your opinion of me? *yawn*and it's funny how you call me a bitch, when you pm me saying you really want the orange kitten, and you'd "almost be willing to pay money" for it. when i already had posted that the solid orange kitten is reserved[Edited on April 19, 2007 at 5:53 AM. Don't they have those caps to put on their claws? For all of you concerned about the kittens tearing up furniture, that might be a cheaper and more friendly solution...and these guys are adorable
4/19/2007 7:41:26 AM
^Yes they do.http://www.softpaws.comhttp://www.softpaws.orghttp://www.softclaws.comAnd all of these kittens are SUPER cute. If it wasn't for my practical side (and by that I mean my girlfriend) I would take them all!
4/19/2007 8:32:21 AM
^^thanks for posting the links!
4/19/2007 3:36:55 PM
I would definitely take one if my cat wasn't such an alpha male
4/19/2007 3:49:44 PM
I do have to say those little covers are a GREAT idea, but you've got to introduce them pretty early. And...hope your little guy doesn't eat them. I know my little guy would have a ball taking them off and chewing on them. Our family had to declaw one of our cats at a young age. He just wasn't getting the fact that a cat post was for scratching and our furniture was not. He had it done at the same time he was fixed, and is no worse for wear. He can hold a string, cup a treat in his paw, scoop up a leaf from the ground, etc. just fine. I'm just saying...we didn't WANT to do it. Sad thing is he still goes up to furniture and acts like he is scratching it.A kitten that we picked up from the side of the road has learned to use the scratching post. Poor Sammy was just a little...thick about it. We tried everything. Promise.Have you found any homes for them yet?
4/19/2007 3:53:10 PM

I've been wanting to get a kitten for a while, but my job kept me too busy. I've changed jobs now and I have more time to care for one. I would love to take one of these cuties! Are there any orange ones left? I've always wanted an orange tabby...
4/30/2007 11:15:18 PM
BTTTIf these kitties are all reserved, I'll be going to some shelters next week. But if they'll still be available in mid-May, I'm very interested.
