This blows. I miss driving. I miss shifting at redline, squeeling tires, the feeling of accelerating. Or just sitting in traffic listening to my music. I miss autoxes, I miss track daysI'll have my car again in June, for the summer. But just the same, this will probably be one of the reasons when I eventually move away from NYC.

I live in NYC, so I don't need a car really at all.My car's in my parents garage in Charlotte. I'm bringing it up for the summer b/c I go to the beach a lot and have a dog. (PITA taking dog on a train)

^^hey man. My dad has an S2000. And while my car's not fast, I consider 0-60 in under 7 seconds quick

me too. i've driven a number of cars in the last 5 years, but none of them were my car, so i wasn't really driving them.

I totally understand. Sometimes nothing can get my head level like taking a long drive. Or just a quicker-than-legal blast around the block. Before I transferred to NCSU from Purdue in '02, I think I was bombing at Purdue significantly because I never got to drive. (and that's in the middle of nowhere!)and performance has very little to do with that. Zinging a miata or even my boat (lincoln LS), is absolutely enough for a giggle. I can see how there's probably a limit on that, I doubt a ford econoline would be much fun, but absolute g's are not the determining factor
