I have an 06 accord and I want to install a GPS system. I figured they would be the only one to manufacture the one that fits in the console and also controls the air system.Anyone have experience with this? What can I look to spend on parts?

your best bet for a stock look would be to find a OE unit to put in place of the non-naviif you browse honda message boards some people sell them every once and awhile. I have seen one for sale but it is most likely sold by nowor find a junked one and take it out of that, though there prolly arnt too many of them around.^seen those kits in some peoples cars and personally they look like ass and you lose to visial cabin temp that comes on the OE screenjust go aftermarket and stick it in your window, theny ou can take it with you if you want, same thing with the sirius radio, why buy a radio with it just for the car when you can buy one that you can bring into the house?[Edited on April 13, 2007 at 8:15 AM. Hmm, I just called my dealer and he said that HOnda does not sell a kit... which is strange, because they install them... why not sell them?SO shit, I got to go third party if honda isn't going to sell it.

i'd just spend a few hundred bucks and get a nice one that mounts to the windshield. then you can take it with you wherever you want to go.i bought the HP Travel Companion...has GPS with Tom Tom, full Windows mobile suite, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth...

can't do that... I have a 2 door coupe... the windshield is already at a pretty steep angle and I don't know if I want to give up that extra viewing space...

has a mounting bracket that adjusts in 2 planes. it'll work.i put mine in the corner down by the A-pillar...i thought it would restrict my vision, but it's fine.

i think you can get one for $450 or so...but that's if you want something like what i've got with all of the PDA features, too. if you just want a plane-jane GPS, you can do it for less.
