any recommendations/suggestions? i just want the 'basic' acrylic french mani, but i don't know what's around campus (or in/around crabtree), and mainly if there are any places to avoid.

there's a place on lake boone trail in that little shopping center w/s'bucks and mcdonalds. they're small but they do a GREAT job.

i'd recomend primp saloon downtown. it's upscale but the price are reasonable the and atmoshpere is NICE plush couches, tvs, and a full bar! the nail tech there (her name is sonja) does awesome work. *I'm a guy btw and i don't go to salons i just occationally hang out w/ some1 who does.

I second the whole "DO NOT GO TO NAIL WORLD IN MISSION VALLEY" thing. I get gel nails, and thus usually pay around $50... and they were awful in less than a week.I only went b/c of time but my regular nail place is Red Nail at the corner of Tryon and Jones Franklin/Holly Springs in the Swift Creek Shopping Center. A little expensive but oh so worth it when I only need to go back in every 3 weeks or so for fill-ins.
