does anyone else sing to themselves to pass the time on long trips, and because it sounds cool inside your helmet?anyone else ever done his for 30 miles+ and forgot to turn off the mike on your radio so everyone in the group is laughing so hard they are about to piss themselves at the next stop?i am a man of little shame, but damn that was embarrassing

bought an ipod just for the deals gap trip. Annoyed the piss out of me when I tried to get the ear buds in. Took like 10 mins to get fit on correctly when I put my helmet on. I do sing when riding a bit on the highway.

ahaha lol thats freakin awesomeI sing to myself too, and even in the car since I have no stereo. Only on long trips though and I've never broadcast myself

Now that I got my ipod, I use my nice headphones... even when in the car. Too much of a hassle to unplug and hook it up to my car system...

I've heard its illegal to drive with headphones on. Seems ridiculous given there are plenty of more distracting thing that are legal, and any newish car with good sound insulation and sound system will block out way more noise.

I don't hear anything outside of my Acura TL as is. Even going 70mph, barely hear the wind noise. Besides, having a radio could be considered a distraction. Should that be illegal? will congress butt in and pronounce some ridiculous study that shows 5 deaths a year contributed to having the radio on instead of off, then say it's for our safety?

i believe the law is you can have one in, but not both.
4/9/2007 3:00:22 AM
it's because if you got both in you can't hear emergency vehicles
