...in '08? I think the current administration has ruined their chances.
4/7/2007 9:20:17 AM
I don't no it seem's like they might have 2 lose!@
4/7/2007 9:22:11 AM
lol, i dunno, but id rather have sum fag than hillary thats 4 sure@!!1!
4/7/2007 10:01:37 AM
they have a very good chancetoo bad so many people are against hillary, she'd be a damn good president, smart as a motherfucker
4/7/2007 10:45:07 AM
Ugh, I will not be voting for that cunt.
4/7/2007 10:48:17 AM
haha exactly my point. i am curious as to why thoughmost people i've talked to about it have given me one of 2 reasons:blah blah blah (some uneducated response that always ends with a remark about how their parents are republicans or they are democrats that hate her)she let her husband get away with it blah blah blah (irrelevant, and how many people have you let get away with shit?)oh yea don't forget that it's not even halfway through 07 yet, why make up your mind now? that type of ignorance really pisses me off[Edited on April 7, 2007 at 10:50 AM. Reason : jank]
4/7/2007 10:49:59 AM
You left out the group of people that won't vote for her just because she is a woman.
4/7/2007 10:53:27 AM
She led an effort to socialize medicine (which makes up 1/7th of our nation's economy) during her husband's 1st term.
4/7/2007 10:54:55 AM
Seems like the repubs are working hard to blow it again in '08.--No exciting, motiviating ideas--No acknowledgement that the previous election blow-out was a wake-up call.--Their attempts to pick up moderate liberal voters is alienating a big chunk of their base.--They are running more liberal-lite candidates Guiliani, McCain et al--Their steadfast attachment to the religious right is scaring off many potential voters who support economic conservatism. The GOP debate with Ron Paul should be fun. He will position them into arguing against the Constitution.
4/7/2007 10:56:12 AM
4/7/2007 10:57:46 AM
I'm still trying to figure out why the fuck she supported the flag burning amendment
4/7/2007 11:12:42 AM
http://www.cato.org/pub_display.php?pub_id=6789It's not as peaches and cream as "free health care for all!11!!" Companies would have had to pay for health insurance, regardless of the cost, which would devastate small businesses around the country and raise prices on everyone else.Universal health care/socializing medicine is not the answer. Hillary is bringing it back for her '08 campaign. Her attempt to meddle with health care helped to lead to the GOP takeover in 1994, so I hope she sticks with it. Limit choices, raise costs, centralize it all under the guise of government knows best...brilliant!
4/7/2007 11:16:00 AM
way to sidetrack.another reason people dont like Hillary is the whole Bush Clinton Bush Clinton thing.Anyway, the real problem is this:
4/7/2007 11:20:49 AM
If Fred Thompson runs the GOP stands a better chance than they do now.
4/7/2007 11:23:16 AM
that would fall under the "no motivating ideas or issues" problem.
4/7/2007 11:24:10 AM
4/7/2007 11:25:20 AM
im middle of the road, but the social issues are also what discourage me from voting republican any time soon.
4/7/2007 11:39:40 AM
If McCain gets the nomincation and can actually appeal to reason like he used to without just having to pander to the Repub sheep...I mean base, then I might actually consider him over Hilary.
4/7/2007 11:46:59 AM
Don't lie. When it's all said and done you'd vote for the Democrat, regardless. Most Dems voted for McCain in the open primaries simply because he can't win. I've seen Dems, even here, say they liked a certain GOP candidate but once it came time to vote, they found a reason to not vote for the Republican.
4/7/2007 11:58:43 AM
i don't think people are opposed to a woman presidenti think they're opposed to a bitter controlling woman on a power trip making irrational decisions for herself instead of what's in the best interest of the country
4/7/2007 12:20:00 PM
4/7/2007 1:15:19 PM
want another reason not to like hillary? because I would like to see Elizabeth Dole lose. If Hillary is the nominee then Dole will get an extra 5 points no matter what.
4/7/2007 1:16:34 PM
RON PAUL WHAT WHATunfortunatly he wont win
4/7/2007 3:02:27 PM
This is nothing but my personal opinion: I do not think that this country is ready for a woman president.
4/7/2007 3:05:19 PM
4/7/2007 4:17:08 PM
4/7/2007 4:33:03 PM
I didn't say I wasnt ready for a woman president. I said the country isn't ready for one, as in a woman would not get elected if she ran, simply due to sexism. And Cherokee, I dont see what a person being racist has to do with this topic.
4/7/2007 6:42:01 PM
bigots, racists, and sexists are americans too
4/7/2007 7:09:10 PM
i saw a poll mentioned in some really wierd editorial within us news and world reports.it said over 50% of Republicans want more choices for president and over 60% believe that all the current candidates have "lost the values of Ronald Reagan" I cant find the poll though
4/7/2007 9:00:20 PM
they referenced it on the news as well. i found it interesting as well.
4/7/2007 9:10:34 PM
It's disturbing to see how easily we go along with the Primaries despite how undemocratic their setup is.
4/7/2007 10:11:41 PM
i'm down for a woman president. i'm not a liberal but tend to consider democrats the lesser of two evils. however, i do not think i would vote for hillary unless dick cheney or hitler were running on the republican ticket
4/7/2007 11:11:33 PM
OBAMA 08
4/8/2007 3:51:50 AM
^^^the primary system as it is really upsets me. it puts moderate candidates at an extreme disadvantage.
4/8/2007 4:13:47 AM
they have a chance of guiliani is the candidate
4/8/2007 4:23:10 AM
4/8/2007 5:09:56 AM
^ so you choose your position on amendments using the "i just read the title, i don't read the text" method.
4/8/2007 6:28:19 AM
of course they have a chance to win, especially considering the unmitigatedly pungent candidates that are currently the leaders for the Dems...here's hoping someone actually worth voting for asserts his/herself before the primaries...
4/8/2007 8:18:33 AM
im pretty sure that everyone running for president showers regularly....
4/8/2007 10:42:29 AM
"ie we'd still have private care, but there would be free care for low income people"Its called medicaid and it covers too much as is.I think Thompson is the repubs best chance. I think Rudy would do well running as an independant. I just dont think the ultra right will support him. Hillary is a political machine, and dangerous..no way she gets elected. Obama has a good chance, esp now that he is pandering for the white vote...he knows he cant win it without it.
4/9/2007 12:10:51 AM
4/9/2007 12:18:46 AM
I thought I was pretty clear. Look at the differences between Obama and hillary's selma trips. Hillary panders for black voters... with aweful accent, while obama does just the opposite. Talking about conjugating verbs, taking responsibility, etc... the same things bill cosby gets blasted for saying. Somehow obama gets the pass. ANd the next day, you have white voters being impressed, and considering a vote. Its pretty simple actually and brillant.
4/9/2007 12:28:01 AM
4/9/2007 12:39:47 AM
why is that hard for you to understand?Obama basically has the black vote wrapped up..and that is what? 15% of population? It seems pretty clear he needs to appeal to white voters if he stands a chance. But I guess that seems retarded to some.
4/9/2007 12:43:16 AM
4/9/2007 1:13:24 AM
4/9/2007 1:25:08 AM
i shouldnt bother, but...
4/9/2007 3:19:09 AM
It's unfortunate, but I don't think the democrats have a chance. Our country won't elect Clinton or Obama.
4/9/2007 9:30:47 AM
