Who has it? Do you like it? Pros/Cons, etc. I knew someone who had satellite and it went out alot when the weather wasn't that good. Is it still like this or is it worth it?

I just debated this myself. It's a whole different animal if you're talking HD, since there's the $200 up-front charge for the HD DVR.

Basically, I ordered DirecTV to get ESPN2HD & ESPN-U, but just a few days ago TWC got ESPN2HD and is gonna get the U sometime soon (they say...), so I actually cancelled DTV and went w/ cable.

It was way cheaper per month to get TV + internet from TWC than DTV + TWC Internet. Also, my home is pre-wired for cable so it's WAYYY easier / cheaper / less destructive on the the installation end.

Now that TWC has ESPN2HD, and escp. when it gets the U, I'll see no benefit to DTV. And the HBO On Demand on cable is AWESOME so I can catch up on Entourage.
