Also at The Orange Peel on 5/8/07

Cat's Cradle show is $15 in advance, $18 at the door.

They have a new album coming out in June (The Fragile Army), and their live show is RIDICULOUS.

(now with black military uniforms lol...)

They are on sale now. Just got mine.

I've been waiting a long time to see this band.

I saw them play CC in like 2003 or so after beginnign stages came out

the only way i can describe it was

it felt like it was your birthday

and everyone elses at the same time

everyone's happy on their birthday

now, with this new twist, im sure that'll prbably change a little.

holy shit --- thanks for the heads up on this.

April has already shaped up to be a good month for me (Decemberists [i have 2 extra tickets for this for sale on classifieds], TV on the Radio, Flaming Lips shows) and now I'll have Arcade Fire and Polyphonic in May.

Awesome.

how are they all gonna fit on that stage?

i do not like this band but would go see them live if they came somewhere within walking distance

Good question. They did it before, though, but I guess it's gonna be pretty cramped.

That's one reason why I really wish I could go to the Orange Peel show (another reason being that it's an infinitely better venue), but I can't really justify driving 4 hours when there is a show 30 minutes down the road.

They played it at the few shows they played last fall, but I highly doubt they will play it on this tour. They'll be playing a lot of material from the new album instead.

I don't really dig them, but last night I saw St. Vincent, who tours with them often (and Sufjan) as a guitar player. And she was amazing. Check it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VW6umHRLQv4

weird

Wait, PS is playing with The Pierces? Wow, I didn't know. I bought their old CD a long time ago. They've gotten a little eclectic in recent years.

The last time I was there was for TV On The Radio in April and it was lax as always. I would bring your camera.... I mean, you park within 30 yards of the place anyway, so the worst that will happen is you walk back to your car and put the camera up.

I wish I had driven to the Asheville and Norfolk shows

Oh and The Pierces didn't play for whatever reason

This is an awesome surprise coming home to the new album

BTW on the actual release track 7 will be "Mental Cabaret" instead of "Oh I Feel Fine"
