why is that so hard for me to play? i'm talking about the finger positioning there on the fret board... for some reason I just can't make my fingers stretch to the positions he has... is there something i am doing wrong?

that initial position he puts his fingers in, i can't for the life of me stretch my hand that far....

i still suck at barre chords myself. but i can certainly reach them. it's just a matter of making them sound good after a quick change.
