Didn't really see a thread about this professor so I thought I'd start one. I think hes teaching next semester and was just wondering what people thought. I've heard some mixed opinions. Thanks

I luv the guy personally, though the class isn't exactly a "gimme". He's a real genuine, nice guy who always starts off class asking if anyone saw any movies. There's no HW, but there is an attendance policy and he's pretty stringent about that. Other than that, there's no outside work, except for the extra credit project. His tests come straight from power points and a bit from the online tests. I've heard though from some of my friends he wasn't as easy as they thought, but he's a teacher you can't slack and expect to get an A with. If you go to class, stay awake for it, study well for the tests, you should do fine. For our class, he curved tests to 80% so it's not exactly hard to do well. His tests can be tricky though, so read the questions carefully.Note I took him LAST semester, and he might have changed his course structure. (I think I heard he assigned hw but not too sure)

currently in his class now. easy A as long as you are willing to read the chapters. not much work other than that. no hw and 5 noncomprehensive tests. you will learn the basic terminology and concepts in his class but not much else. very friendly and he is enthusiastic about marketing. he does take attendance but if your attendance is more than 80% it won't hurt your grade. he hasn't curved any of our tests... no need for a curve when the test average is always around 85.i have been in cruise control mode since the first test.[Edited on April 2, 2007 at 4:59 PM. have him for 495D now. Just go to class. 360 is rediculously easy and this guy is great at getting you to think about stuff. Go to class and pay attention(he'll call you out for slacking, unless its a huge class) and you wont have any issues.
