I am looking for an xbox that is old enough to mod into a server, i have one but it is a newer version and cannot be moded the way i want to, i would like to either buy an older version or trade the one i have for another, i have the memory card to transfer save games if needed

To find out if the one you have is what im looking for go to the dashbord, under settings, and scroll down to system info. some words will scroll for a while, what you are looking for is something that says

K:1.00.XXXX.01
D:1.00.YYYY.01

(except there will be numbers instead of letters)
i want a version that is lower than
K:1.00.5713.01
D:1.00.5713.01
