Quote :
"Even more importantly, patients treated with IV steroids initially, had about half the risk of developing MS in two years as patients treated with oral steroids only, or placebo. Seven and one-half (7.5) percent of those patients treated with IV (followed by oral) steroids developed MS in the following 2 years versus about 16% in the other groups. "

Generally I get twitches when I'm really stressed. So, it goes away after the stress.

The doctors started IV therapy (3 days) and im following that with orals to ween me off as we speak. They think im cool, an "isolated" incident, because im not in a category that generally is at risk of MS (Southern white male).

Ive never had any twitches or the like and just the occasional back pain from sports, which i am still very active - workout with weights and cardio for 2 hours, 6 days a week and play on a corporate basketball team.

Also, i have had a lot of stress lately

It sucks only being able to see out of one eye - not that it is more than other people do, but I work a lot in drafting, reading fine details (engineering) and presenting power points for my job on a daily basis.
