I have no training or knowledge of SEO, but I might be getting moved to a position at work that would require this to be my primary job. The other guy who works there recommended this book, just wondering if TWW had any recommendations or tips.Thanks.

Its pretty much to the point. SEO changes alot, but understanding some of the basics can take you a long way towards moving your site up in the rankings. If you get into link purchasing, let me know and I can let you use a tool I helped develop.

ParksnRec,Aaron Wall's SEObook is an excellent resource. If you have any specific questions feel free to ask and i should be able to help. There are tons of free resources but i like SEOBOOK b/c its puts everything into one place and its generally trustworthy info albeit not cutting edge.if you buy seobook, feel free to use my affiliate link http://www.seobook.com/rf/idevaffiliate.php?id=1220
