soap out of carpet? My son spilled a whole bottle of baby soap (liquid) into the carpet. We got it up to the best of our ability, but there's still a spot that looks bad. We steamed the carpet tonight with plain hot water and got tons of suds out, but there's still a spot. Any suggestions?

That's pretty ironic.

Baby soaps don't usually have such strong chemicals because of babies sensitive skin.
Does it still suds up?

There is nothing that you can do. Your carpet is ruined.

Now take you frustration out on your son.

maybe if you steam it a few more times with plain hot water. You said you got most out that way, maybe you can get more out if you do that again.
