I know far more than any person not from WV should know about Morgantown. I'm all too familiar with the drive and it's not terrible...about 7 hours or so from Raleigh. If you're spending the night there and are looking for a good hotel, I suggest the Waterfront Place (I imagine that's where the team will stay, because I'm pretty sure it's the nicest hotel in Morgantown). For a cheaper option, there's a couple of Econo Lodges...I hope alumni groups in Pittsburgh (about 1 hour north of Morgantown) and DC (about 3 hours east) take advantage of the opportunity to see the Wolfpack play.

I used to live in Charleston, WV & actually went to the NC State @ WVU game earlier this year @ the Charleston Civic Center -- WVU fans are easily the most stank, redneck, woodwork folks you'll ever see. Hope to God you don't sit near one. Seriously, it was awful. You're warned.

they do it like that you know so people will actually watchif they have it the same day as the elite 8 or final 4 of the real tournament, only the fans of the teams involved would watch

well Ive never been to West Virginia, and with being a grad student, one has ALOT more freedom over planning there schedule..especially when all they have left to do is Research Project Hours GO PACK!
