We should be playing VT every year. If TOB gets this program back on track and we were playing VT every year, it could be one of the top rivalries in college football in 25 years. Its time to move to 9 conference games and make some shifts to the divisions so we can play both VT and Duke every year.

i talked to a friend who is a walk on with the football team today. he seems really impressed by O'Brien. Apparently he told them that they were all Irish for St Patricks day since they were all his sons now. Then told them to have fun but not to do anything stupid and to stay out of trouble etc.

I think many say we should play VT every year b/c they are very similar to us. They're like our Clemson North. A historically strong science, engineering, and agriculture school that has loud, rabid fans that hate their generally snobbish University of __________ rival fans. It's a kind of good natured rivalry b/c even though you hate losing to them, it's hard to hate their fans, b/c they are very much like yourself.

We'll probably get destroyed in that game. They've got a lot coming back, and a very talented coach that will keep the ball rolling that Petrino started. We lose by 10-14 or more pts me thinks. They'll definitely be a Top 10 team. Even if it is only a 10 pt. loss the stat sheet will probably show how much they dominated us on the offensive end.
