well when you think about ityou target the search boxhit keys to type a subject name (similiar to pressing WASD for movement)then you target and click a search boxPretty cut and dry.

I'm jumping on the offtopic bandwagon. I do get cranky when I get less than 40 fps with my google searches.Back on topic.... I think this is a token gesture by google. 2 years is still a long time to keep search data around.

they didn't really specify but it seems to be saying that for x amount of time, the data will be identifiable to an account - presumably until the results can be mined for any trends that could push better ads to you and once that mined result is stored in your account showing your preferences, the actual search results will be removed. that would make sense to me.
