Probably the most original movie I have ever seen. I've tried to explain to people how awesome it is, but its almost impossible when you tell them that it goes backwards. Most people just blow it off. Anyone else like it as much as I do?

I am being dead serious, and hopefully you can give me an honest answer: is this a joke?

i mean, it's a really good movie and i own the special edition, but this thread is a few years old.

Good movie.

i enjoyed this movie.. quite good, but probably not to the extent that you enjoyed it
3/11/2007 12:39:13 AM
maybe the thread makes sense if you read it backwards?
3/11/2007 12:53:45 AM
i knew that joke was in here somewhere. gg
3/11/2007 1:11:42 AM

"i have this condition""now... where was i?"and yes, i love this movie. one of my all time favorites. although, for the longest time, no one else i talked to had heard of it. it was one of those movies that became really popular a while after it was released

anyone ever seen "unknown"
3/11/2007 2:15:37 AM
i saw unknown on the blockbuster shelf.I saw all the stars, considered the fact that i'd never heard of it, and cloncluded that it is surely shitty.like Twistedbut should I give it a shot? the premise sounded like it could be mildly entertaining.[Edited on March 11, 2007 at 2:26 AM. Reason : ]

^^^ i was not being not serious

at the time the movie came out, i thought it was the most awesome movie i ever saw.it truly was unique. unlike any movie i had ever seen to date. it totally had me guessing from start to finish. it was a powerful movie. one of those that burned into your brain and you never forgot.i also tried to explain it to people and was at a loss for words. the explanations i tried to give i feared made the movie sound ridiculous.so while it was one of the best movies i saw *at that time* i dont know if people would be as impressed today. namely because all the spoilers are out, and once you know the premise, it takes away a lot of the suspense/fun. also because elements of that movie have since been incorporated into more recent movies, so it wont be as novel as it was when it came out....all that aside, when i saw this thread i thought someone revived an old thread from 2003 or something.

i saw it at The Rialto. .... if it's playing at The Rialto, you know it can't be that popular.

not to hijack this thread but while were on the topic of Chris Nolan movies, has anyone seen the Following? I just put this on my netflix and haven't heard to much about it, but if it's a Nolan film it has to be good.
3/11/2007 11:03:21 AM
