I was just thinking about making this thread. I welcomed the team back after getting into the sweet sixteen and it was great. I'll be there win or lose tomorrow. These guys have made it fun to be a wolfpack fan again, something that has been missing for some time now. I'm damn proud of everybody, and if these guys can pull it out tomorrow I will be the first to help tear Raleigh down to the ground!

I remember when we welcomed home the team after beating UConn and advancing to the Sweet Sixteen, and I helped pass out Krispy Kreme Donuts to the crowd while we waited for the team to return. SBP Tony Caravano, my roommate (who was his friend and colleague in the Student Government) and I went to the Krispy Kreme downtown, and asked them how much would it be to get something like 20-30 dozen donuts to take to the fans to welcome back the team. The manager said meet me in the back. We go to the back and the guy just gives us the donuts and said "No charge" and we thanked him and promised to mention the store while giving them out, so that people would go give them some business.


Someone get the current SBP to do something like this.

i talked to one of my boys last night who is a team trainer (kenya) and he said if we win they are staying at the hotel to watch the selection show but if they lose they are coming home. he said the plans are very shaky right now so he's not 100% sure but the early word they got was that they would stay in tampa to watch the selection show.

what i saw on packpride said the team's flight should land at rdu around 7:30. that means the guys will be back to w-b/dail center around 8 pm or so. i'm planning on getting there around 7:50 or so with some people.
