Junior Accountant (RTP, NC)

With Lulu’s growing success, we are in need of another "Lulu" to join our accounting team. This person will be responsible for accounting functions in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable as follows:

• Responsible for Accounts Payable coding and entry into the accounting system
• Prepare and create weekly check run for Accounts Payable
• Review and enter in all expense reports for the company, including verifying receipts and proper authorizations
• Reconcile all corporate credit cards with statements and expense reports
• Keep all W-9 forms on hand for all vendors and complete 1099’s in a timely manner at year-end
• Prepare PO Invoices for customers
• Post daily credit card receipts to accounting system
• Interact with customers in researching questions and problems
• Responsible for Accounts Receivable collections, including statement mailings and collection calls
• Assist with yearly audit
• Assist in monthly closings and other duties as assigned

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of general accounting practices from an accounting degree program or related experience. This position is ideal for a recent graduate, or soon to be with part time available before graduation.
