Ive been testing backup software, mostly free ones,what i want is, no propriety backup format, scheduled backups, and network backupthats all and free is goodive tried cobian, winbackup, ntbackup, and synchbackup, none of those do what i wantanyone have a good suggestion?

you may be able to find a licensed version of backup exec out there somewherewhat are you backing up to?

didnt you read my post, i want it to backup without compression, to a networked computer, and scheduled. thats all

check out rsync. it's a little difficult to use at first, but once you figure it out you'll never go to anything else. I use it all the time and it's been 100% reliable.cwrsync is a windows port of it.]

wait ntbackup compresses?because i know it will do network backups
