say you have it on shuffle... and you hear a song and really like the artist and/or album. Is there an easy way to take it off of shuffle and therefore keep playing that album? or do you have to go back through the menus... would be nifty if there was some one step thing to do to take it off of shuffle immediately...

^^ I think he means the shuffle playback control on a normal ipod. They dont have dedicated shuffle buttons.^ I dont think theres a shortcut to do that, but i dont know for sure. The last ipod i owned was a 3rd gen. i would've done the same thing you did[Edited on March 4, 2007 at 1:06 PM. Reason : ]

yeah, it seems like something that SHOULD be there, its not a huge deal but would definitely save some time

ok, yeah in that case, i agree. i want the same feature on my nano - a way to go straight to the artist/album that is currently playing and change it to sequential mode

agreed.here is another similar thing that sucks:say you are on shuffle, and a song comes up that you like, and want to add it to your on the go playlist. there is no way to do it. in fact, there is no way to add a playing song to an on the go playlist.that sucks big time.

^ Hit Menu.Hold down the center button.

^not so.hitting menu just once takes you to main menu.and there is no way to get to the song in the song list.

The Creative Zen Vision allows you to lookup an artist and disable shuffle on the fly.
