I thought hip hop was dead, but then I saw THIS!!!
3/3/2007 10:43:38 AM
^^^ Well I know T-Bro is from Charlotte^^ Come out and find out. If you don't know who at least Shelly B is I don't know where you've been. She's been out since high school. She won a battle a few years back and performed with DMX at that outdoor concert in Mission Valley. She's been in unsigned hype and on the cover of a few magazines.^ [Edited on March 3, 2007 at 10:45 AM. Reason : lol]

3/3/2007 6:08:11 PM

3/3/2007 6:23:32 PM
hip hop aint dead, but with artists like these, I wish it was.
3/3/2007 7:12:54 PM
Whatever happened to that Dijital kid that used to post here?
3/3/2007 7:18:36 PM
this isnt a resurrection its a 187if shelly b is the headliner thats bad news. she needs to retire asap
3/4/2007 4:44:17 AM
^ Well you're entitled to that opinion. It's definitely subjective. I personally think Shellz is the shit! And so do a lot of people. But she isn't the headliner. Just a guest performer. And on a related side note: It's hard as hell for any local artists to get any love in NC. I'm not saying you should give an artist love just based on the mere fact that they're from your state but there's a plethora of hot ass artists right here and they can't get any support. Most (not all) NC hip-hop heads are wishy washy as hell. They don't adapt to change or respect the growth and evolution of an artist. They don't come to shows and buy any of the local artists' music. Then get mad when those artists get big and abandon their home state. But why would you rep your home state when the home state fans don't even support you? And from my brief experience in the music business, this is an NC phenomenon. A lot of these artists get more love from over seas then they do from their own home. Cats in Atlanta, New York, Houston, etc. are selling hundreds of thousands of CDs out of the trunk of their cars and have platinum status before they even cop a deal.
3/4/2007 2:45:33 PM
they sell so many indie cds because people like the music.and just what NC rappers have made it big and have no respect now?
3/4/2007 2:51:42 PM
^Can you honestly say LB has gotten the love they deserve in NC?
3/4/2007 3:10:40 PM
3/4/2007 3:16:16 PM
who the hell is LB?
3/4/2007 4:12:42 PM
^Thanks for proving my point! Little Brother
3/4/2007 5:31:53 PM
it was a joke. And Id hardly call them a huge success in other markets. Almost all of their sales are done in NC. So dont tell me they blew up and NC now shits on them.Youve probably only listened to hip hop for a year. Fucking broads.
3/4/2007 6:20:17 PM
3/4/2007 7:02:37 PM
^^Yeah exactly. I've been listening to hip hop for one year. You're exactly right. I knew I was a hip hop head when I first heard Get Low by the Ying Yang Twins. That's when I fell in love with the genre. ^Yeah Shellz has been making moves for years. Granted the other cats don't have that name recognition yet though because they are just getting out of the starting gates.
3/4/2007 8:15:21 PM
broads dont belong in the music scene unless theyre sucking dick.
3/4/2007 8:20:07 PM
aha
3/4/2007 8:24:45 PM
^^ Nah I'll leave the dick sucking to groupies like you
3/4/2007 8:53:05 PM
Im one of the rare people on here that has toured extensively and has multiple CDs out, as well as ran a record label, and a fanzine, and booked shows, and did web design for musicians, and worked at clubs, and basically had my hand in every part of the music scene.
3/4/2007 9:21:16 PM
^Impressive. And yet you still make time to be on tww 24/7. Amazing! You must be the hardest working man in show business.
3/4/2007 9:34:09 PM
Theres always time for TWW.
